My work moves between the familiar and the imagined, tradition and abstraction. I have explored the rich visual language of Theyyam and Kathakali, drawn to their dramatic colour, symbolism, movement and extraordinary power of expression. Alongside these cultural influences, I have experimented with Abstract faces, Cubism and Expressionism, where forms can be fragmented, reshaped and liberated from the need to look exactly as they do in reality.

I am fascinated by how much a face can reveal, how much a colour can evoke, and how a familiar form can become something entirely different when seen through emotion. Rather than belonging to a single style, my practice is an evolving collection of ways of seeing—each work allowing me to explore a different feeling, idea or possibility.
